Welcome to the Halfway Along holiday home

Halfway Along is situated along ‘The Digey’ in the heart of the Downalong area of St Ives. The area consists of many cobbled streets and alleyways which are flanked by the original old granite cottages.

The Digey is a cobbled street but is accessible by a car for unloading your luggage. This is not always possible and so is a great bonus to staying at Halfway Along. The cottage is so named due to the fact that it is around half way along the street. Its situation means that in both directions within 60 metres there is a flat walk to the famous Porthmeor surfing beach and from the other way within this distance is Fore Street with its array of interesting shops and the harbour.

The cottage is approached by 5 granite steps which lead into the kitchen/dining area. The benefit of this is to ensure privacy from the many passers-by that wander along The Digey marvelling at the outlook and taking photographs. Halfway Along has been completely refurbished at the start of 2015 to a very high standard and consists of all the things that you would expect to make your holiday comfortable. It is a 2 bedroom cottage and is suitable for 2 adults & 2 children.

It also has a brand new gas central heating system which ensures the cottage is cosy even when taking out of season holidays. All heating and electric costs are included in the price you pay for the week. Linen and towels are provided for your stay.

Your holiday stay at the cottage can commence from 3pm on the day of arrival and we ask guests to kindly vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure.

The entrance key can be found in a key safe which is located by the door of the cottage and the code will be given to you in your confirmation email/letter when the final balance of rental has been received. The key should be left in the key safe following locking the cottage at the end of your stay.

There is no smoking allowed within the cottage.

We regret that no pets are allowed at Halfway Along.
